Japanese Beech Thelypteris decursive-pinnata This is one of our favorite ferns and has a well deserved place in the Mickel Collection™. It has been around for a long time, but is still underutilized. Slowly spreading as a dense clump, its fuzzy light bright green leaves are an unusual shape for ferns. Like the other Thelypteris, this one appreciates a little extra moisture in the soil although it is not necessary. It may be evergreen along the Gulf coast. |
